Lisa Lamb is a model, writer, artist and mother of four. She traveled extensively in her teens, first as young member of the American Institute for Foreign Study, and then as Miss American Virgin Islands representing the U.S. territory in the Miss World Pageant. Her travels have taken her throughout Europe, Northern Africa and parts of the Middle East. She began painting oils at age 15 as a means of expressing the red internal conflict she experienced as a wild child of the islands. Her art found its expression for the first time in a private studio tucked away in the dark backstreets of the island of St. Thomas. She put away her brush and folded up her easel when she left the islands twenty years ago and moved to Florida.
After two decades Lisa has picked up her brush. “I realize that my art is me. I have denied my art for almost twenty years. My paintings today are of an untold story. They speak of realities and feelings that cannot be adequately described or expressed with words.”
