Art Affair Gallery is dedicated to the presentation and promotion of contemporary visual art. The gallery provides opportunities for both emerging and established artists to exhibit their work within its vision of current national and international trends from varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The gallery welcomes all viewpoints and visual media in its exhibition schedule.
Art Affair Gallery welcomes artists who work in all traditional media to participate in regularly scheduled shows and events. The Gallery’s mission is to provide open and varied opportunities for artists to become active members in the local and national arts community.
The Main Gallery hosts monthly exhibits according to its exhibition schedule, and offers emerging and established artists alike to participate in themed curated shows. The Studio Gallery hosts exhibits of the resident artists of Art Affair, one person shows, installations, and when space is available, as rental exhibit space. The Student Gallery is reserved for Student works, and classroom activities.
The gallery is located in the heart of the historic City of Sanford, which is a vibrant and publicized art and entertainment center in Central Florida. The culturally rich and diverse community boasts art galleries, live music venues, restaurants, clubs, antique shops, museum, and lakefront attractions. It is well-known for its Alive at Five street party on the second Thursday of each month, as well as its open-air concerts, open mikes for local talent, and wine tasting parties. The gallery coordinates its exhibit openings with the monthly Alive at Five event, and other Sanford happenings.
